SR Modellsport brake fluid "Competition Line" DOT 5 100ML

SR-Modellsport DOT5 brake fluid, made from silicone, offers significant advantages: First, the fluid has a high boiling point, which means it retains its transmission performance and can be used under significantly higher loads than DOT4 brake fluid. Second, DOT5 is characterized by a longer shelf life.

If you plan to switch from DOT4 to DOT5 fluid, it is absolutely necessary to disassemble the entire brake system, thoroughly clean it, and replace the rubber components if necessary. Mixing DOT5 brake fluid with DOT4 is absolutely not permitted!

Characteristics:

• For hydraulic brake systems
• Miscible with all brake fluids that meet DOT 5 specifications
• Not miscible with DOT3 or DOT4
• Boiling point: dry 260°C, wet 185°C
• Does not cause paint damage and does not absorb moisture.
