SR-Modellsport MCD OCTOX Flexy Upper Deck (Front)

The SR-Modellsport Flexy Upper Deck (Front) was specially developed for tracks where it is difficult to generate sufficient grip. Through targeted material selection, the component gives the chassis more flexibility in the front area. As a result, the vehicle builds up significantly more mechanical grip, remains more stable in bumpy sections, and can be driven noticeably more controlled and faster through corners on slippery surfaces.

Integrated Fan Mounts with a Lower Center of Gravity
A real upgrade compared to the standard part: The mounts for the fans are directly integrated into this front section. The position of the fans has been shifted downward compared to the original component. This effectively lowers the vehicle's overall center of gravity and ensures better roll characteristics. For maximum durability when wrenching, high-quality threaded inserts are embedded directly into the plastic. This prevents the fan screws from stripping out.

High-Quality 3D Printing with a Special Finish
The Flexy Upper Deck is manufactured using a precise 3D printing process from premium plastic. To withstand the harsh demands of RC motorsports, each part undergoes a special chemical/thermal post-processing treatment afterward. This elaborate finish decisively improves the durability and toughness of the material.

The Flexy Upper Deck successfully passed its final endurance test at the European Championship in Portugal, where it proved its reliability and noticeable performance advantage at the top international level.

Additionally, tightening the fastening screws may cause slight optical indentations from the screw heads on the surface. This is due to the nature of the material and affects neither the durability nor the function of the component!
